This Mattress is soft and firm which offers the best balance of support and comfort. I switched over to the Serta Edgebrook from the Memory Foam Mattress. I should have NEVER Purchased a Memory Foam- Dont EVER BUY A Memory Foam Mattress-Its a RIP-OFF and YOU will Rue the day. At only age 30, because the Memory Foam Sank in so deep after only the first year of use, it caused me Years of Wretched Sleep and PAIN. I was waking up to Daily Aches & Pains- especially in my lower back, I began to think it was something wrong with me or that I was getting old, yet after staying at a Hotel for a week (On Their Serta!) I realized it was my Memory Foam Mattress that was the problem. Now I have the Serta Edgebrook & I could not be happier!
